Symphonics expands deployment of its supply offering

Symphonics expands its energy supply offering to new regions in France
After reaching a portfolio of 250MW in 2025, Symphonics, a French company specializing in smart electricity management, is taking its development to the next level. Previously deployed mainly on the Enedis national grid, its managed energy offering is now available on the Électricité de Strasbourg (ES) distribution network.
This integration marks the first time that Symphonics' offering has been made available to a local distribution authority, ahead of a gradual rollout to other areas in France.
A smart energy offering, now available locally
Symphonics has obtained licenses as an energy supplier, flexibility operator, and aggregator in the territory covered by Électricité de Strasbourg. Businesses and sites connected to the public utility can now access its offerings, which are designed to improve electricity consumption, production, and recovery.
Launched at the end of 2025, Symphonics' offering is based on the intelligent management of electricity usage, in order to consume, store, or produce energy at the best time: when it is cheapest and has the lowest carbon footprint.
In concrete terms, facilities connected to ES can benefit from:
- An offer to purchase electricity generated, particularly from renewable energy sources,
- Flexibility services, enabling the adaptation of electricity production, storage, or consumption to the needs of the grid,
- From an electricity supply offering integrated into the management platform developed by Symphonics.
This approach optimizes energy costs, promotes local production, and contributes to the balance of the electrical grid.
A gradual rollout to other local networks
Symphonics' expertise recognized by players in the electrical power system
Certified by network operators, Symphonics participates in various systems that contribute to the stability of the electrical grid and fulfills several roles:
Aggregator
Balance manager
Adjustment operator
Programming Manager
Load shedding operator
Energy supplier
"This integration with Électricité de Strasbourg enables local stakeholders to better control their electricity consumption and derive greater value from it. It marks the starting point for a gradual expansion to other local authorities, with a view to making smart energy accessible across the entire region," says Mathieu Rochard, founder and CEO of Symphonics.
