Symphonics is expanding into Spain to help individuals and businesses reduce their electricity bills

Symphonics, a specialist in smart energy management and an electricity provider, announces the opening of its subsidiary in Spain, with offices in Madrid. The goal is to help Spanish households and businesses better manage their electricity consumption and reduce their bills.
Spain, a rapidly growing energy market
Spain is experiencing a major acceleration in its energy transition, driven by the electrification of energy use, the expansion of renewable energy, and changes to the regulatory framework.
Spain recently reached a key milestone with the publication of Royal Decree88/2026¹, which officially paves the way for independent electricity aggregators. It is against this backdrop that Symphonics is participating in the RD-ES working group and is already positioning itself as a future independent aggregator.
Key partnerships to establish a strong market presence
As part of its rollout, Symphonics is relying in particular on AXDIS Ibérica to develop an offering tailored to the specific characteristics of the Spanish market.
The company is also developing strategic partnerships with its local subsidiaries Solarshop and Splitmania to support the deployment of equipment such as batteries and heat pumps. These partnerships enable the integration of smart energy management into the equipment from the outset, allowing customers to benefit from lower utility bills.
Symphonics is also working on pilot projects with local energy companies to demonstrate its technical capabilities in the Iberian markets and accelerate operational implementation.
A clear goal: to lower Spaniards’ electricity bills and support the development of renewable energy
With this new location, Symphonics is reaffirming its ambition:
- Lowering electricity bills for households and businesses
- Helping consumers better understand and manage their consumption
- Turning the energy transition into an economic opportunity
- Support the development of renewable energy by facilitating the integration of these energy sources into the grid and managing their intermittency
Against a backdrop of price volatility and accelerating electrification, the ability to intelligently manage energy is becoming a strategic priority. And Symphonics intends to play a key role in this new phase of the Iberian market.
A clear European ambition
Symphonics reaffirms its ambition to become a leading player in energy aggregation and smart energy management on a European scale, as well as the scalability of its model.
By connecting flexible assets, digital technologies, and energy markets, Symphonics aims to contribute to a more resilient, low-carbon, and economically efficient power system for both consumers and operators.
« En Espagne, les consommateurs cherchent des solutions simples pour reprendre le contrôle de leur facture d’électricité. Notre rôle est de rendre cette maîtrise possible, sans complexité technique pour eux », déclare Mathieu Rochard, fondateur et directeur général de Symphonics.
With a business model that can be quickly scaled up internationally, the company also plans to expand its operations to other European countries in the near future.
