It's a combination of Fintech and Greentech!

QUANTEAM, a leading player in banking and finance consulting, announces the acquisition of a strategic stake in Symphonics, a greentech specializing in innovative energy solutions for individuals and businesses. QUANTEAM is also the founding entity of the RAINBOW PARTNERS consulting group (€103m sales, 980 employees, 11 international offices).

Since 2007, QUANTEAM has been a privileged partner of investment banks, asset managers and other financial institutions, thanks in particular to its expertise and historical knowledge of market trading.

As part of its business, QUANTEAM also works on highly secure information systems for banks and marketplaces. Symphonics, meanwhile, combines IoT, Big Data and energy trading to offer predictive models and intelligent solutions that optimize energy consumption, enabling companies, including major banking groups, to reduce their costs and carbon footprint.

INNOVATING TOGETHER TO ACCELERATE THE ENERGY TRANSITION FOR BUSINESSES

At a time when ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria are taking on vital importance for companies, QUANTEAM and Symphonics have announced a capital and technological alliance to strengthen their respective actions with the major players in energy trading.

"For QUANTEAM, the merger with Symphonics was an obvious choice. On the one hand, the challenges of market trading, QUANTEAM's historical core business, and energy trading are very similar.

This synergy will enable us to accelerate Symphonics' growth with major energy players.

On the other hand, Symphonics embodies innovation itself: we want to offer our customers - major banking and financial players - intelligent energy solutions to help them reduce their carbon footprint and develop their energy transition plan," explains Julien BENSOUSSAN, Chairman and CEO of QUANTEAM and the RAINBOW PARTNERS Group. Mathieu ROCHARD, CEO of Symphonics adds "For Symphonics, the support of QUANTEAM, a strategic partner of financial institutions, enables us to offer them a concrete response to their growing obligation in terms of environmental responsibility, and to act on their carbon footprint while reducing their costs".

SYMPHONICS x QUANTEAM: A STRONG ALLIANCE TO MAKE ENERGY MORE ACCESSIBLE THROUGH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

In addition to this equity investment, QUANTEAM is also providing Symphonics with a team of experts from its IT department. This "Core Team IT" deploys its know-how to develop the Symphonics solution, contributing to its architecture, infrastructure, microservices and IoT connectivity, and intervening in every project phase: development, technical specifications, QA, cybersecurity, and Data & AI exploitation. "From the design phase through to implementation, Quanteam's teams are involved in every stage of the development of Symphonics technology, and are an integral part of our teams. A capital-intensive alliance therefore seemed a natural step for us," concludes Mathieu ROCHARD, CEO of Symphonics.
