Vertigo and Symphonics: Partners Committed to Reducing Energy Bills for Low-Income Households

Vertigo and Symphonics formed a strategic partnership with the goal of providing practical services that help reduce electricity bills, particularly for low-income households. 

Vertigo, an expert in financing mechanisms for energy renovation and a signatory to the "Coup de Pouce" energy-saving certificate charters (room-by-room control of heating systems, heating systems for collective residential buildings, etc.), provides assistance for the installation of energy-efficient equipment that not only reduces household consumption, but also enhances occupant comfort. 

Symphonics, a provider approved by RTE and ENEDIS

Symphonics, a provider certified by RTE and ENEDIS to monetize flexibility in the energy market, offers smart energy consumption management services that incorporate signals from the energy market as well as the pricing structures of existing energy contracts. 

More specifically, Symphonics intelligence—which is Symphonics embedded in equipment manufacturers’ applications—enables the programming and implementation of equipment operating schedules that incorporate dynamic rates, peak/off-peak pricing, and the compensation offered by RTE for reducing electricity consumption during periods of grid stress. 

The two companies are working together to offer services to help reduce energy bills for landlords and tenants. 

Firstly, by financing the replacement of equipment with energy-efficient or even renewable energy (heat pumps) equipment, but also by offering complementary services to control and optimize the operation of this equipment, notably by shifting consumption to less expensive and less carbon-intensive off-peak hours.  

Present at the Congrès de l'Union Sociale de l'Habitat in September 2024, the two companies have tested these value propositions with landlords receptive to the emergence of offers providing new levers for reducing energy bills for their resident tenants.
