Symphonics continues its geographic expansion and is extending into new local power grids

A specialist in smart energy management and a provider of 100% renewable electricity, Symphonics is accelerating its expansion across the country. Already present throughout the entire Enedis national grid (95% of metropolitan France), Symphonics is extending its energy aggregation and optimization services to local utilities and grids throughout France, notably Enedis (all of France), Strasbourg Électricité Réseaux (SER – Bas-Rhin), GÉRÉDIS (Deux-Sèvres), Société Réseaux Distribution (SRD – Vienne), Réséda (Metz), the Coopérative d’Électricité de Saint-Martin-de-Londres (CESML – Hérault), and SICAP (Loiret).

A presence across 95% of the country and a stronger local presence

To enable producers and businesses to sell their electricity at the best possible time, Symphonics relies on broad and comprehensive geographic coverage, with a local presence in more than 95% of the country and a strong local presence:

  • On the Enedis national grid: Symphonics now covers 95% of mainland France, offering its electricity management and purchase services to all connected facilities.
  • Strasbourg Électricité Réseaux (SER): Following the partnership with Electricité de Strasbourg in February, the “ Symphonics ” initiative has taken another concrete step forward in Alsace: several local solar power plants are now directly aggregated and managed on this grid.
  • In the Deux-Sèvres department (GÉRÉDIS): The service is now fully rolled out in the Niort area and its surroundings.
  • In the Vienne department (Société Réseaux Distribution – SRD): “ Symphonics ” services are now available to customers connected to the Poitiers grid.
  • In Metz and the surrounding area (Réséda): Facilities in the Metz metropolitan area can now join the platform.
  • In the Hérault and Loiret departments (CESML and SICAP): Operations are now underway in the service areas of the Saint-Martin-de-Londres Electricity Cooperative (CESML) and SICAP in Pithiviers.

Symphonics, committed to working alongside local energy producers

Thanks to its approval by grid operators, Symphonics connects facilities (solar panels, energy storage systems, industrial sites) directly to its smart platform. In practice, this allows local producers to:

  1. To sell the electricity they generate when market prices are at their highest.
  2. To automatically adjust their consumption or production to help balance the local grid, reduce their bills, and improve their profitability.
Our goal is simple: to make smart electricity management accessible to all local stakeholders, regardless of which local grid they are connected to. The fact that we are now directly aggregating renewable power plants and industrial sites across all of these Local Distribution Utility networks demonstrates that our model adapts very effectively to each region.
"Says Mathieu Rochard, CEO and Founder of Symphonics."
